FLEX TIME Reminder
Are you already engaged outside of your work day in collaborative activities focused on enhancing learning for your students?  If so, this time may qualify as FLEX TIME.
PUSD and PFT are excited to continue the FLEX TIME professional learning model for 2018-19.  FLEX TIME is our 188th paid teacher work day and provides an opportunity for teachers to select both the content and configuration of seven hours of collaborative professional learning activities.
Attached you will find the PLANNING AND REFLECTION sheet, with possible ideas for qualifying FLEX TIME activities on the back side.
The deadline for the planning section of the form is Oct. 31, 2018, and plans can be modified and resubmitted for approval if a more meaningful opportunity presents itself after Oct. 31, 2018. FLEX TIME activities must be completed between 07/01/18 - 06/30/19.

TPLES TLC Opportunity
If you are being evaluated this year AND if you have already gone through the TPLES Process, you are eligible to sign up for a 5 point TLC this year.
 
To sign up for the TLC, go to the Staff Development/TLC website and sign up for:

School Board Election Campaign
Be sure to let your PFT Site Rep know if you’re willing to put a campaign sign in your car when parked in the school parking lot and around town.  We will use these same signs for sign waving the week of Oct. 22 and on Nov. 5 and 6.  If you live in PUSD, ask your Rep for a yard sign.  PFT will submit all orders on Monday, October 1.  Thanks for spreading the word to supportJuza,O’Connor-Ratcliff, andZane!
